New Group for Exchange Program goes to Singapore

The Jurong Shipyard Aracruz (EJA), a company which is part of the multinational Sembcorp Marine, seeks to improve their labor within the international standards of quality and efficiency. In this sense, promotes the Training Program in Naval and Oceanic Technology, a professional exchange taught in Singapore and directed to the young technicians trained by the Federal Institute of the Espírito Santo (IFES).

Trainees EJA Cingapura 2015The third group, consisting of 30 students and three teachers of the institution, embarked on Sunday, 01/04, for more than a year of study and training. The course is taught in Ngee Ann Institute, responsible for the training of professionals working in Sembcorp Marine shipyards.

Students were selected in the areas of mechanical, industrial automation, electromechanical, electrical engineering and metallurgy campuses of Aracruz, Vitória, São Mateus, Linhares, Serra, Guarapari e Cachoeiro.

In addition to training, the group will receive intensive course in technical English for three months, also offered by the Ngee Ann staff. After completion, the trainees return to Brazil to work in Jurong Shipyard Aracruz and be multipliers of knowledge in the naval area.
